We offer two signature programs for libraries and organizations.
“Chemistry in the Animal Kingdom”- FIZZ, BOOM, SPARK, SURVIVE!
This one-hour program looks at chemical based adaptations that some animals here in Michigan use to survive: secretions, foams, sprays, poisons and bio-luminescence. Hands-on activities, science experiments, games and live animal observations ensures everyone is having fun all while learning about some of the amazing wildlife that lives right in our very own local parks and backyards. A fun twist on learning about animal adaptations that is guaranteed to keep your group engaged!
“Nature’s Superheroes” – Do you know the protectors of the planet?
Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes and while often times being very misunderstood they help those in need while making the world a better place. Nature on the GO! has paired hands-on activities, games and small live animal observations with a visual presentation to help participants learn:
- Why TREES are TERRIFIC
- Who are the ORIGINAL RECYCLERS
- How POWERFUL are POLLINATORS
- Which critters FIGHT the ENEMY by preying on pests
Connections will also be made between nature’s superheroes and how people can step up to be superheroes for nature!
